Update

Blogging is hard. Especially when the places you stay have spotty WiFi. It's just enough for my phone but not enough for my computer. I've been downloading my pics to my hard drive in my downtime so I'll sort them all (or maybe half??) on the flight home tomorrow. 

Last day in Iceland!! :( I'm trying to make it a busy one. In the meantime, here's a pic of something!

P.S. had a scary moment today that severely cutback on my exploring time. 

I lost my passport at Jokarsularon. 

It was found AND returned!! I was terrified that it had gotten washed out to sea. Which was apparently a legitimate fear because when I picked it up, it was wet and "found by the water". 

But it added like 2 hours to my day which, as I've hinted at before, really messes with my daylight hour plans.

Day 6 will probably be typed on the plane, along with the rest of 5 and 7. Here's a highlight from day 5. Saw a sheep on the road. Also drove through a snowstorm. Day 6 highlight- went to several glaciers, one had frozen lake you could toss rocks onto and make that interesting sound. I threw a rock and it kept going and going...much to the amazement of an elderly Asian woman. Her being impressed with me kind of made me feel great about myself.
